Terms of Service

Please take a moment to read through before placing an order. By ordering from Andrea’s Cakes & Bakes, you agree to the following:

Orders & Payment

  • Full payment is required at least 7 days before collection/delivery.
  • If payment is not received by this time, the order will be treated as cancelled.
  • Payment is accepted by bank transfer only.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders cancelled less than 7 days before collection/delivery are non-refundable.
  • In the unlikely event that I need to cancel, a full refund will be issued.

Collection & Delivery

  • Once cakes have been collected/delivered and signed for, Andrea’s Cakes & Bakes is not responsible for any damage. Please handle and transport your cake carefully.
  • For best results, cakes should be transported flat in a cool vehicle and stored as advised.

Allergies & Ingredients

  • All cakes are made using eggs, wheat flour (gluten), and butter (dairy).
  • I bake in a kitchen that handles all allergens. While every care is taken, I cannot guarantee cakes are free from traces of allergens.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform me of any allergies when placing an order.

Cake Design & Decoration

  • I will do my best to match colours, styles, and decorations as discussed, but please allow for slight variations as everything is handmade.
  • Fresh flowers (if provided/added) are the responsibility of the florist/customer to ensure they are safe for food use. Fresh flowers that I source myself will always be food safe.

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Cakes should be stored in a cool place, displayed as cool as possible, and always kept out of direct sunlight.
  • Sponge cakes are best eaten within 2–3 days of collection/delivery.
  • Save any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 7 days of collection/delivery.

I reserve the right to photograph cakes for my portfolio and social media.
